Navigating through a website is not dificult and most of us just like
to find our own way. Here are a few navigational tips and suggestions
to help you "click" to the right spot.

How does change happen anyway?

There are many stages involved with change. Contemplating change (What do I need to change?), Preparing for change (How can I make it happen?), Action (What do I need to do to make change happen?) and Maintenance (How do I stay here?). What stage of change are you in?

Here
are a few tips to help get you started to use this website. Your school
will also provide you with training and required activities involving
the "Student Tools'" and "Six Year Plan" menu items. The goal of this
website is to help you get engaged in how high school "connects" to
what you plan to do after you graduate.

Want to find out what is
going on in your high school or a friends? Then choose the "HS Link"

"My Six Year Plan" This is your own piece of the site
and requires a password. All students will receive instruction on how
to use this tool in grade 9. It will help you and others to connect
high school to what you will be doing afterwards. It's a graduation
requirement for the Classes of 2008 and beyond.

You just have to
check out the" MCIS" menu item. It's like a Target Store......many of
the things you need to make plans for the future are in this site. You
will need a school login and password from your guidance office to get
in. You can also get there by clicking on the ? mark on this page.

Wondering
about what to do in high school? Check out the "Mapping Your Future"
link in the Financial Aid menu. It's the first link listed on the
explanatory page. It's a good starting point.

Are you a senior
who needs to complete the FAFSA online? You can link directly to the
FAFSA site through the Financial Aid menu item. How much will college
cost?, How will I pay for it? Check out some of the other links in this

sort things out and get ideas.
